Very nice Volvo 240 DL in its original Burgundy colour. This Volvo has never been repainted, with an average paint thickness reading of 130 microns. Our example was delivered on 14 April 1987 and has covered only 132,800 km in nearly 40 years. Its mileage can be traced through the original service book and its MOT records. The underbody is in very good condition, completely sound and free from corrosion. Mechanically, a full service has just been carried out, including replacement of the timing belt, spark plugs, front brake discs and pads, distributor cap and rotor, engine oil and filters. No expenses are to be expected. The interior is also original. There is some wear consistent with use on the left-hand edge of the driver's seat. This de Luxe version was only used during the warmer months in Sweden. The Volvo 240 is renowned for its robustness, reliability and build quality.
