For sale: Honda Civic 6th Gen VTi (factory VTi). I drove it only about 300 km after purchase before starting a build for personal use; the build process took nearly two years. It recently passed its technical inspection (valid until August 24, 2026). Unfortunately, I didn't keep the receipts for the parts, as I never intended to sell the car after finishing the build. It is currently not being driven and is kept in a garage; I only take it out for the occasional wash. The tires currently on the car aren't bad, though they are starting to age; a set of steel wheels with worn tires is also included. The car comes with all the spare parts I collected or had left over, including adjustable suspension (in need of major refurbishment), a center muffler, plastic trim pieces, etc. Late 2024: Complete rear suspension overhaul: all parts treated with 2K epoxy primer and painted; full replacement with Strongflex red polyurethane bushings (new shafts and sleeves); Strongflex yellow bushings and links for the sway bar. Brake discs, pads, and wheel bearings replaced on both sides; brake calipers fully rebuilt and painted. Upper control arms and front links replaced; aluminum control arms installed. Lower strut bar installed. March 1, 2025: Gear linkage rebuilt: cross-joint rebushed, new Energy Suspension bushings (red), new gear lever, dust boot, and plastic bushing. Transmission output shaft seal and gear linkage seal replaced (OEM parts); new oil (Mannol 8103 Extra Getriebeöl GL5 75W-90, 20,000 km change interval). CV joint boot replaced on the short axle. 2025.03.23 Complete bodywork repairs finished: lower rocker panel, rear wheel arch, floor pan, jacking points, etc. 2025.03.30 Front suspension completely rebuilt; all parts treated with 2K epoxy primer and painted. New bushings installed in lower control arms (large red Strongflex); yellow Strongflex bushings and new links for the sway bar. Turbo Grooved brake discs and Yellowstuff pads; calipers fully rebuilt and painted. New wheel bearing, upper control arm, ball joint, tie rod end, and inner tie rod. Fully rebuilt steering rack with new Castrol Transmax Dual Multivehicle fluid. Wheel alignment performed. Brake and clutch fluids replaced with TRW DOT 4+. 2025.05.10 Engine oil cooler circuit installed (Epman adapter, braided oil lines); MANNOL 10W-60 engine oil used. Valve cover sandblasted, painted, and reassembled with a new OEM gasket; various other seals and oil seals replaced, including the oil pan gasket. Small engine mounts replaced. All coolant hoses replaced; external oil catch can plumbed in. Large aluminum radiator repaired and pressure-tested. Timing components replaced (Japanparts belt/tensioner, Aisin water pump) at 338,xxx km. Massive Simota air filter installed. All three ribbed belts and the aluminum VMS Racing pulley have been replaced; the A/C belt tensioner received a new bearing. April 18, 2026 The car received a full respray in matte black, followed by complete cavity and underbody rust protection. September 12, 2026 Alternator refurbished. The car still has some issues requiring repair; the most annoying ones are that the two rear electric windows do not work, the front two work intermittently, and the left speaker has the same intermittent issue—likely due to the wiring harness in the door jamb. The car can be viewed in Tata by prior arrangement; it can also be viewed in Ráckeve, where the undercarriage can be inspected from an inspection pit. Finalizing the sale is possible after a scheduled appointment and a deposit transfer (to prevent scams).
