In 2017 the car joined a private collection in Bucharest, where the official BMW importer (Automobile Bavaria) carried out a major €12,000+ recommissioning: complete front control arms, all brake hoses and rear brake lines, fuel hoses, complete propshaft, engine gaskets and full alignment — all documented with invoices. In 2025 the fuel and ignition systems were completely renewed (2× Bosch in-tank pumps, filters, 12 NGK plugs, both distributor caps and rotors, cam/crank sensors, power-steering pump) — a further €4,400 invested. The odometer reading of 235,000 km is continuously documented from delivery to today: service booklet entries, dealer invoices at 234,428 km (2018) and 235,000 km (2025). Fewer than 600 km were driven between 2017 and 2025.
