Mercedes SL 500 1997 red 89.000 miles, driven only by first owner and myself (except for 3 months held by US dealer). VIN WDBFA67F6VF148712 5 gears, bose, 6 CD’s exchanger, post-biodegradable wiring of R129 up to 1996 Extra 2 back seats / jumpseats installed for children (bose box still available). New battery, brand new EU headlights (EUR 800), everything was done at import (oil, spark plugs, filters, etc). I spent well over EUR 15,000 on maintenance, improvement, etc. See overview in excel attached. Hard top included in perfect state, soft top opens and closes great (after having installed 4x new cylinders). Soft top in good condition, window is very transparent. CarFax report proves 87,564 miles driven by first owner end of 2016, I drove around 10,000 miles so it’s now on 98k miles which is less than 160.000km’s (I have proof of annual NL-TUV like testing, which records milage/km). Engine starts great, runs smooth, gear shift excellent, roof opens and closes super. Great car, no hidden issues whatsoever. This SL 500 has been upgraded to hobby state.
